What to Expect During Your Gender Determination Visit
When you arrive at Knit 4D Ultrasound, you’ll be welcomed into a cozy, family-friendly ultrasound room with comfortable seating for your loved ones — including siblings — so everyone can be part of this exciting moment. Your baby’s ultrasound will be displayed on a large viewing screen, giving you a clear, close-up look at your little one in real time.
Each session begins with 2D ultrasound imaging, which offers the most accurate view for early gender determination — even if you’ve selected a 3D, 4D, or HD ultrasound package. Depending on your baby’s position, we’ll either start by identifying the gender or by letting you hear your baby’s heartbeat. Once we confirm the gender from multiple angles, we’ll reveal it on screen — or, if you’re planning a gender reveal party, we’ll keep it a secret by turning off the monitor and sealing the results in an envelope for later.
